How to remove drop-out fuse

Professional tools are required to remove the fuse tube of a drop-out fuse, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. The specific operation methods are as follows:
1. In the first step of operation, use the tip of the insulating rod to align it with the duckbill of the drop-out fuse, push it upward, and the fuse tube will automatically fall down. At this time, arc splash can be seen, and this phase of the transformer is separated from the power supply.
2. Use the horizontal hook on the metal top of the insulating rod to insert the lower hook of the fuse tube, turn it slightly outward, and the fuse tube will be separated from the seat hook of the drop-out fuse, and then remove the fuse tube.
3. Take out the appropriate high-voltage fuse, first install one end of the fuse on the terminal of the contact on the fuse tube, and then tighten the fuse (be careful not to tighten it too tightly, otherwise it will easily break the fuse when closing). Then install the other end of the fuse on the terminal post of the lower contact of the fuse tube.
